The Davis Difference

Celebrating Partnerships Old and New

A benefit of working in international education is the opportunity to work with partners from around the world. In March, we welcomed two delegations from Shandong Province in China and look forward to working on these upcoming ventures together.

Meet Instructor Teresa Pargeter

Teresa Pargeter is a recipient of the Outstanding Service Award for Teaching. A longtime instructor of UC Davis International Programs, she has more than 30 years of experience teaching a wide range of ages and language abilities.

Elevated Learning

Through collaborations with the UC Davis Model United Nations Team, students in our Academic Engagement Program and students from Kyoto Otani High School participating in a custom program are able to increase their awareness and understanding of current issues around the world.

The Value of Long-term Partnerships

One way we measure our success as an institution is the long-term relationships we develop with our respected and valued international partners. Watch a video from UC Davis Chancellor May congratulating one of our long-standing partners, Zhejiang University, on its 125th anniversary.

GREAT Program Faculty Director part of UC Davis team developing low cost, portable ventilators

Students who participate in the Global Research Experience in Advanced Technologies (GREAT) program are able to work with extraordinary UC Davis faculty like Tingrui Pan, GREAT Program Faculty Director.  He is part of a team of engineers and clinicians developing  low cost, portable ventilators.  The opportunity to access faculty like this are why our students thrive here and are able to achieve their own academic goals.
