  • Focus Areas

    • Water and Irrigation: Irrigation efficiency, scheduling and water accounting for production under scarcity
    • Controlled Environment: Greenhouse and indoor production, climate control, energy and water balance, crop management
    • Precision and Robotics: Sensing, data and automation applied to field and orchard operations
    • Soil and Salinity: Soil health, salinity management and climate-smart practice on arid and saline ground

  • Curriculum and Delivery 

    • Programs are developed with institutional and industry partners and delivered through customized, modular pathways. From first diagnostic to a first credentialed cohort in six to twelve months.
      1. Online micro-credentials, taken from anywhere.
      2. Certificate programs on campus at UC Davis.
      3. Train-the-trainer delivery in country, building your own faculty's capacity to teach the material.
