Kyoto Otani

Meet Anna, a recent high school graduate from Japan who made her dreams of studying abroad for college a reality thanks to the academic and English skills she gained in a custom UC Davis program at her high school.

UC Davis welcomed 31 students from Kyoto Otani High School to campus for an immersive, four-week custom program in communication and culture, a continuation of a year-long academic English program in Japan.

International Programs at UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education has established the first partnership of its kind with Kyoto Otani High School in Japan to launch UC Davis English as part of its year-round curriculum to help its students with academic English and academic skills.
