Fostering Impactful Global Collaborations

The University of California, Davis, engages with partners around the world to advance the university mission of research, teaching and service. The most robust relationships require time and mutual commitment as well as dedicated “faculty champions.” Below are some ways in which we develop partnerships.

Virtual Classroom Interaction (COIL)

Undergraduate | Graduate | Coursework | Requires Customization | Academic Year | Remote Options

Faculty from partner institutions collaborate to create virtual learning experiences and joint, collaborative projects for students. Faculty Engagement and Research Collaboration

Global Affairs and the Office of Research help facilitate research relationships between academic personnel at UC Davis and partner institutions by coordinating meetings and virtual workshops, facilitating agreements and helping identify funding sources. We facilitate new research-based programs when there is already an established faculty-to-faculty relationship. If a potential partner institution has already secured funding, UC Davis can help identify potential UC Davis academic personnel who may be interested in engagement.

Sarah Olson [email protected]

If an institution has funding and requires specialized programs for academic personnel, UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education-International can create customized faculty training programs to suit partner needs.
